IS THIS THERAPY RIGHT FOR YOU?
Phonation Health Coaching is a focused, 30-minute session dedicated to basic breath and voice balancing. Rooted in vocology, clinical voice disorder therapy, and classical singing technique, these sessions help you establish a healthy, effortless baseline for making vocal sound.
Because every voice user faces different demands, sessions are completely customized to your daily vocal needs:
For Public Speakers, Teachers, & Executives: We focus on finding an efficient pitch center, building speaking stamina, and maximizing projection through resonance rather than volume.
For Singers (Professional, Student, or Hobbyist): We focus on functional mechanics, balance, and vocal efficiency. While the structure may resemble the technical warm-up portion of a voice lesson, it is designed strictly around vocal function and health.
A Note for Singers Taking Private Lessons: While Phonation Health Coaching focuses purely on physical vocal mechanics and bodywork, some voice teachers prefer to keep technical instruction strictly in-house. To ensure your training remains aligned, we recommend checking in with your primary voice teacher before scheduling your session.
HOW SINGER'S CHOICE CAN HELP
If you rely on your voice to make a living—or simply want making sound to feel effortless—phonation coaching bridges the gap between body mechanics and vocal output.
Consider scheduling a session if you:
Lose your voice or feel hoarse after talking or singing for long periods
Experience physical tension in your neck, jaw, or throat when speaking or performing
Struggle with breath support, volume control, or vocal stamina
Want to integrate gentle laryngeal manipulation with targeted vocal exercises
WHAT TO EXPECT
Depending on your specific goals, a session may incorporate:
Targeted Breathwork: Developing sustainable breath support to reduce throat strain.
Vocalises & Structural Exercises: Tailored exercises to balance resonance and ease vocal fold closure.
Touch Cueing & Gentle Bodywork: Mild muscular manipulation to release localized tension around the neck, jaw, and larynx while making sound.
